PENS WIN!

Pens beat the Avs 5-1!! What a game!

Pens came out strong and looked good. Showing that they can get the job done without Letang, but would do even better with him in the lineup. I think this was a great statement by the Pens, with some speculation whether they could win without Letang.

Flower looked solid in the net and I really wish he could of got a shutout (or at least an empty netter).

Pens D looked good and Lovejoy played well, especially not having played in quite some time.

Geno got a goal to bring him back in the lead for the most NHL points over Stamkos.

Pens got some goals by some outside sources with Engo, Park, and Asham scoring. Sullivan got himself a empty netter, showing he is perfectly healthy.

All around good game for the Pens. They extended their winning streak to 5 games and Flower now has 34 wins.

Asham had a nice fight and I think he got the better of it. Favorite moment was when Flower skated to the blue line after the Avs goalie Giguere came at Cooke. Classic.

What did you think of the game? Let me know in the comment section.
