Jagrwatch!

Number 68 Jaromir Jagr may return to the NHL and that return could be with the Pens!! The Pens have offered Jagr a one-year contract worth $2 million! Detriot and Montreal have both offered Jagr deals. Jagr has not yet made a decision officially, but it is rumored that he may be leaning towards Pittsburgh. His agent has stated that Jagr's heart is in Pittsburgh! Tomorrow is expected to be when Jagr will make his decision public! I would love to see Jagr on a line with Sid and Geno, we would have a three-headed monster on our hands =] We are all officially on Jagrwatch!!

Players to test the free agency market

The Pens have stated they don't look to re-signed forwards Alexi Kovaliv or Mike Comrie. These won't be the only players to test the free agency market. It looks like both Talbo and Rupper will be looking around! It is rumored that the Pens offered both players contract deals and they turned down the Pens. Talbo has expressed that he would like to stay in Pittsburgh. Rupper seems to want to look around and maybe move on. We will see what happens, as July 1st is tomorrow and the market will be officially be open. I hope to see both Talbo and Rupper return to the Pens for next season!

Signed!

The Pens have re-signed forwards Craig Adams, Aaron Asham, and Pascul Dupuis. Adams signed a two-year deal worth $675,000 a year. Asham has agreed to a one-year deal worth $775,000. Duper agreed to a two-year deal worth about 1.5 million a year.

Congratulations DAN!!!

Congrats to Dan Blysma on winning the Jack Adams award!! He deserved it and did a great job this year with the Pens, even with all that happened! Blysma made Pittsburgh proud!
