Rupper moving on!

The New York Rangers have signed Rupper to a three-year deal, worth a reported $4.5 million! It is so sad to see him go, I really liked him! He was funny and a good player, he will be missed by Pittsburgh fans! Best of luck to you Rupper! =[

Pens sign Sullivan!

The Pens have sign Steve Sullivan from the Nashville Predators to a one-year deal! He has had some previous back issues, but if he can stay healthy he would be a great addition to the Pens line-up!

Flyers sign Jagr and Talbot!

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed Jagr to a one-year deal worth 3.3 million! Well that was the last team I would of wanted to see him play for! Our rivals, come on Jagr not cool! Whatever he had all the time he needed to make a decision on the Pens and I think the Pens made the right decision...we still have great talent and players without Jagr in the line-up! Not only did this happen, but the Flyers also signed Talbo to a five-year deal! Talbo is a Stanley Cup hero in Pittsburgh, but I think Talbo will be on Santa's Naughty list this year! Anyways, good luck to both Jagr and Talbo, wish you guys all the best!

The Pens withdraw offer to Jagr!

The Pens have withdrawn their one-year contract worth $2 million they offered to Jagr!

Ray Shero made this statement about this decision, "We made what we thought was a very fair contract offer to Jaromir on Tuesday, based on stated interest of returning to the Penguins. We made our best offer from the start, given our salary cap structure, in an attempt to facilitate a deal. But now, after several days, with an extended time frame for making a decision, and additional teams getting involved, we have decided to move in a different direction. It was never our intention to get involved in a free agent bidding war, and we have to focus on our team. Jaromir is one of the greatest players in Penguins history, and we wish him all the best."

Detroit also has withdrawn their offer to Jagr. The only team still on the table it seems is the Montreal Canadiens. It looks like Jagr's agent trying to negotiate terms didn't work out in his favor and now who will Jagr play for? Or will he be returning to the KHL?

Still on Jagrwatch!

Pens re-signed TK!

The Pens have re-signed TK to a two-year contract, worth an annual value of $2 million. It will be nice to see TK back in the line-up for the Pens! He was a really big force in their winning after the loss of both Sid and Geno!
