Pens Last Day!
The Pens are coming in to pick up their things and talk to the media once last time, before they start heading home. Sad day for the Pens and the fans, but can't wait for next season.

Pens only practice for an hour and a half. Guerin was at practice today.
A little side note, Raffi Torres from the Coyotes was suspended for 25 games for his hit on Blackhawks player Marian Hossa.

Pens Practice 4/20/12
Pens practice the power play quite a bit. One look was Sullivan and Tanger on the points with Sid, Geno, and Kuni up front. Neal would replace Kuni time to time for the net front presence. The second unit was Niskanen and Despres on the points with Staal, TK, and Cooke up front.

Pens Practice (4/17/12)
The Pens are now on the ice for practice and the only one missing is Martin. Pens are rotating the seven defensemen and using the usual lines for rushes.
Per Bylsma, Martin had a maintenance day and he is possible for Game 4 (could have some injury). Neal had his hearing and they have not heard anything yet. Asham's is scheduled for this evening.

Adams Suspended
Adams has been suspended for one game for his actions late in the third period. The fight between him and Hartnell. Also Bylsma has been fined $10,000 dollars for Adams' actions.

Asham will also have a hearing on Tuesday. The hearing is about the match penalty and cross-check to Brayden Schenn from Sunday's game.

Pens vs Flyers Game 1 (PLAYOFF TIME!!!!)

17:37- FLYERS WIN. VORACEK SCORES IN OT! Voracek pass goes pass Tanger and he goes around Staal to put it in the open net. 4-3 Pens. Ridiculous how the Pens fell apart defensively once again, they better learn from this.
19:46- Great pad save by Flower on Hartnell. Pens are worrying me right now.
20:00- Pens need to comeback as the team they were in the first period and get the win. OT time.
Third Period
0:00- We are going to OT! 3-3 tie
2:35- Great save by Flower and a chance by Sid!

Pens Practice (4/10/12) One day to go!
The Pens held another practice today. Cooke was back and Lovejoy was skating with the team again. Niskanen was the only one missing, he skated prior to practice.
Pens talked about how keeping their emotions in check will be big in this series, "I think emotional control is going to be important. It's going to be loud in both buildings. It's two teams that hate each other. I think it's going to be fun to be a part of," Tanger said.

Pens were working on set faceoff plays that had names like "Asham" and "Crosby." After that the Pens worked on the power play. 1st unit was Sid, Geno, Neal, Kuni, and Tanger. 2nd unit was Staal, Cooke, TK, Sullivan, and Martin.
Another important factor will be special teams. The power play and penalty kill for both teams.

Pens Practice (4/9/12) Playoffs are Here!
The Pens have re-assigned Steve MacIntyre to WBS.
Lovejoy was back practicing with the team and is ahead of schedule in his injury recovery.
Cooke and Niskanen only ones missing at practice. Cooke is having a maintenance day and Bylsma expects him to be at tomorrow's practice. Niskanen is skating on his own and progressing.
Neal and Sully returned to practice. They say they are ready to go for Game 1. So great news to have them back in the lineup for sure.
Sid was named NHL 'Third Star' of the week. Go Sid.

16:39- Flyers ice the puck. Game has calmed down and more business like.
19:18- Cooke turns around in front of Flyers net and gets a wrist shot off, Bobrovsky with the save.

7:06- Flower with a huge flash of his glove to stop a Flyers SH chance.
8:45- Rinaldo gets a boarding major and a game misconduct. Pens with 5 minute PP.

14:27- DUPER SCORES! Asham with work down low and able to tip the puck to Duper. Duper rifles one into the net extending his point streak to 17 games. 1-0 Pens
15:01- Staal and Duper with a 2 on 1 chance, but Flyers break up the play.
17:36- Vitale and Zolnierczyk drop the gloves right off a faceoff. Vitale lays some huge punches and takes out Zolnierczyk. Great fight!
18:00- Good back and forth game. Engo laying some huge hits in the D zone. Crowd is ready to go and chanting Lets Go Pens!
20:00- Puck drops and it is game time! Last game of the regular season and a little preview for the 1st round of the Playoffs! Pens vs Flyers! Time for the Pens to get a win in the Consol Energy Center against the Flyers.

0:00- PENS WIN! Pens win 4-2 over the Flyers. What a great win! First win against the Flyers in the Consol Energy Center. Geno with #50! Take this into the playoffs boys!
1:47- Flyers PP ends.
3:00- MacIntyre goes for interference and Flyers with PP.
5:51- Sid and Geno both resting on the bench. Each have played for about a minute. Not much going on. Still 4-2 Pens
7:34- Tanger with a shot from the blue line is grabbed up by Bobrovsky.
9:29- Orpik with a shot from the blue line is redirect start at the pads of Bobrovsky and almost sneaks passed him. Alert save by Bobrovsky to keep the game 4-2.
11:07- Johnny with a great glove save. Flashes it for the Flyers to recognize it.
12:30- Pens kill off the Flyers PP. Full strength.
13:13- Flyers with a 43 second PP.
14:32- Geno goes to the box for cross-checking and some 4 on 4 hockey.
15:13- Flyers to the box for tripping and the Pens get a PP to work with.
15:32- Johnny with a great glove save and gets the whistle for a faceoff.

0:58- Vitale with a breakaway chance as he splits the D. Bobrovsky with the save.
2:06- SID SCORES! Scramble in front of Bobrovsky and Sid able to pick up the puck. He backhands it into the open top of the net, Bobrovsky gets a piece, but not enough. 3-2 Pens
2:42- Jagr sits for hooking and the Pens get a PP.
3:48- Pens with a great PK. Tanger is released.
5:48- Tanger heads off to the box for interference and the Flyers get another PP.
