Pens Optional Practice 3/23/12

The Pens held an optional practice before taking off to Ottawa for a game on Saturday. Jeffery, Tangradi, Lovejoy, Thiessen, Park, and Lovejoy participated in the optional practice today.

Johnson was cleared for full practice with his teammates and continues to rehab. Once he is 100% healthy he will return to being backup to Flower.

Niskanen, who left yesterday's game with a upper-body injury, and Vitale, with an undisclosed injury, will travel with the team. They probably won't play any games this weekend, per Coach Bylsma.

The Pens look to overtake the Rangers for the division lead and Flower could break the Pens franchise record for most wins. Which is held by Tom Barrasso with 43 wins in 1992-93. Only three wins away!!!

GO FLOWER!
