Third Period
0:00- PENS WIN! Pens win 8-4 over the Jets! Neal with the Hat Trick and TK and Geno within one goal of their own! Pens #1
0:33- TK with a shot that goes wide and high!
1:05- Pens will get a PP.
3:08- Pens with great puck control in the Jets zone!
6:33- DUPER SCORES! Duper rifles one into the net. 8-4 Pens I can't tweet because I reached my limit, so I will try to get on asap!
8:27- The game is picking up and more fast pace game!
12:04- Sid with an amazing backhanded dish pass to TK. He is off to the races, but shots the puck wide. Only Sid could make that pass.
13:36- Kuni on the doorstep is stopped by the pad of Mason. Game picking up!
17:53- GENO SCORES! Geno backhands one from behind the goal line, it goes off the inside skate of Mason and into the net. Crazy! His second of the night and we could of a triple hatter on our hands. 7-4 Pens
20:00- Third period time! TK needs a hatter and Sid needs a goal! The Pens need to wrap this up and keep the Jets at bay!
Second Period
0:00- Second period ends! Pens lead the Jets 6-4! Neal got the hatter, now time for TK and still time for Sid to get a goal! Lets Go Pens!
2:57- NEAL SCORES!! HAT TRICK!!! Neal lets go of a wicked wrist shot (famous for it) and it blows pass Mason! 6-4 Pens
3:57- Thiessen with a nice save.
5:21- JETS STAPLETON SCORES! Stapleton parked in front of the net and puts it between the pads of Thiessen. 5-4 Pens
8:29- GENO SCORES! Pens with a delayed penalty situation. Sid goes into the slot and fakes the shot passing the puck to Geno. Geno rifles one pass Pavelec and into the net! Geno with his 200th NHL career goal and his parents are there! MVP chants erupt in the arena. 5-2 Pens Jets pull Pavelec and put Mason in.
10:58- Duper gets a breakaway and is ROBBED by the glove of Pavelec. Unreal!
13:05- TK SCORES! Sid goes behind the net, drawing two Jets D, he puts a pass between the legs of Jets D man to TK. TK is all alone in front of the net and wrist one in the net. 4-2 Pens
14:41- Thiessen makes another good save. Up and down game right now. Each with great chances.
16:05- JETS LITTLE SCORES! Little receives a across ice pass on a 2 on 1 chance and puts it into the net 3-3 tie game.
16:56- Tanger with a hard shot is stopped, but Sid bangs at the rebound. The puck gets into the middle of the blue line, but the Jets D cleared the puck out somehow. Unreal how that didn't go in the net.
18:45- NEAL SCORES! Geno, Kuni, and Neal go hard to the net and don't give up on the play. Neal finds space between the arms of Pavelec on the blocker side to give the Pens a 3-2 lead.
19:38- Staal was ROBBED by Pavelec, just needed a little more on that puck.
20:00- Second period is underway! Time for the Pens to take control of this game and get some more goals! Lets Go Pens!
First Period
0:00- First period ends and the Pens able to tie it 2-2 on the PP!
3:16- NEAL SCORES! The Pens were passing the puck with perfection and Sid gives a pass to Geno with a quick pass to Neal. Neal doesn't waste time and lets go of a wicked wrist shot. Neal with his 15th PP goal! Tie game 2-2!
4:53- Geno draws a penalty and Pens will have a PP to work with.
6:00- Thiessen with a huge save on Kane.
7:09- JETS LITTLE! Little slaps one over the shoulder of Thiessen on the blocker side and into the net on the PP, still 2 minutes to work with. 2-1 Jets
8:10- Staal with a breakaway hits the post and was so close the goal horn was set off.
8:28- Geno with high sticking penalty and Jets with a 4 minute PP to work with.
10:24- Pens get PP as Jets Byfuglien with high sticking penalty.
11:50- Jets packing in around Pavelec to block Pens shots. Niskanen with a laser of a shot gets blocked. Up and down hockey game, lots of turnovers early for both teams.
14:19- Great save by Thiessen on Jets Kane. Doing well in the net early in the game.
16:25- JETS SLATER SCORES! Staler takes a pass that is redirect into the net with his skate and ruled a good goal! Tie game 1-1.
17:56- TK SCORES! Sid working down low behind the goal line puts the puck right on the stick of TK. TK wrist one behind Jets Pavelec. Putting the Pens up 1-0! Sid and Cooke with assists.
20:00- Puck drops and lets do this! Pens vs Jets! Sid's first home game since Dec. 5 and Thiessen turned 26 yesterday! Lets get a win!
