Pens host the Coyotes!!

It is going to be another Hockey Night in Pittsburgh, as the Phoenix Coyotes come to town.

The Phoenix Coyotes are 3rd in the Western Conference with a 33-23-9 record (Pens record is 38-21-5 4th in Eastern Conference). The Coyotes are 7-2-1 in their last ten games. They are lost two games in a row against the Flames and Blue Jackets.

TK returns to the lineup after missing 11 games from a high ankle sprain!

A hot player for the Coyotes is Ray Whitney with goals in his last five games. Coyotes will have Mike Smith in the net, who has 3-4-0 and 2.51 GAA in his career starts against the Pens.

Players hot for the Pens are Flower who has won five straight games.
Another is Geno with eighteen points in his last ten games.

Pens D is going to have to step up to stop Whitney, without the services of Letang and the forwards need to get pass Smith in the Coyotes net. Coyotes are going to have their attention more towards the Pens top line of Kuni-Geno-Neal, which should give the other Pens a chance. Like last game all the Pens showed that they are deadly when trying to score goals.

Pens Injuries: Sid (concussion-like symptoms), Johnny (undisclosed), and Tanger (concussion symptoms)

Coyotes injures: Gilbert Brule (upper body), Kyle Chipchura (upper body), Rostislav Klesla (upper-body), Derek Morris (family illness/leave of absence), and David Schlemko (lower body).

Pens have won five straight games and lets keep the streak alive!

LETS GO PENS!
