PENS EXTEND THEIR STREAK TO ELEVEN!

Pens come out on top of their game with a 5-2 win over the Devils! They extend their winning streak to eleven games, which is now the longest winning streak in the NHL this season, and move within two points of the Rangers.

The Pens came out strong and didn't waste anytime. They scored using the James Neal play. Geno won a face off and gave it to Neal, who shot a wicked wrist shot at the net. It blew pass Brodeur to put the Pens up 1-0!

The Devils tied it up before the first period ended, but the Pens came out in the second and dominated.

Duper scored and they Pens went up 2-1. They didn't lose the lead for the rest of the game getting goals from Cooke and Geno on assist from Geno.

The Pens PP unit was able to get one on the Geno goal. It looked sweet!

The Pens just took it to the Devils in the second period and the Pens PK was amazing as always.

The Devils notched another goal in the third, but Cooke came back with another one. Cooke was looking for the hatter once again for the second game in a row.
Flower was really good in the net, not seeing a lot of action as the Pens held the Devils to fourteen shots.

Brodeur was equally good even with the score, he faced a lot of shots. Could of been worse for the Devils with the way the Pens were getting such good chances on the rush, which doesn't usually happen against the Devils.

Sid delivered in this game even without scoring a goal (even though he tried, but Brodeur wasn't having it), but making great plays. He ended the game with 16:37 lodged in minutes, 6 shots, and 3 assist.

Geno got his 40th goal of the season and Duper tallied his 30th goal!

Flower earned another win which ties him with Rinne for wins at 39!

Overall it was a great game for the Pens all around. Tomorrow they take on the Flyer and I want them to smash them into the ground. Not my favorite of the teams and I am sure I am not the only one.

11 GAMES!
