3rd Period
0:00- PENS WIN 5-1!!! The Pens will get their first home win and what a win! Just a dominating effort for the Pens, great all around team! Flower holds the Devils to one goal and was strong in the net. Pens hand the Devils their first regulation loss! Go Pens!
0:06- Pens are able to kill off the Devils PP.
2:06- Sid and Devils Vokchenkov exchange words. Sid is sent to the box and the Devils get a PP.
2:29- Flower stands up and flashes his glove to grab up a puck on a Devils shot! An amazing glove save.
4:10- Flower flashes the pad to make an amazing stop with traffic in front of the net. He then gloves up the puck for whistle.
4:36- Pens PP ends. Devils come down to the Pens zone, but Flower comes up with a save and holds the puck for the whistle.
6:36- Pens will get a PP to work with. Devils with a tripping penalty.
10:04- BORTUZZO SCORES!!!! Sid with a great forecheck and passes the puck to Bortuzzo at the point. Bortuzzo fires a shot and it is deflect by a stick pass Brodeur! His first NHL goal! Congrats Bortuzzo! 5-1 Pens
12:49- SID SCORES!!!!! Sid receives the pass at the Devils blue line and skates into the Devils zone. He looks to Duper for a possible pass, but instead takes a rocket of a wrist shot that blows pass Brodeur into the back of the net! Pens now lead 4-1!
15:22- Sid just hammering on the Devils net during this shift! He shoots a rebound, while falling an it just goes over the net! Amazing shift by Sid!
17:29- TANGER SCORES!!! Kuni makes a pass to Tanger in the center of the Devils zone. Tanger uses his stick to settle down the puck and lets go of a wicked wrist shot. It flies over the glove hand of Brodeur! 3-1 Pens
19:29- Tanger with some nice moves to get into the Devils zone. Tanger takes a shot and it slips by Brodeur, he reaches back to make the save.
20:00- It is time for the third period! Pens need to close the door on the Devils!
2nd Period
0:00- First period ends! Pens lead the Devils 2-1!
0:24- Geno comes into the Devils zone and leaves the puck for Sid. Sid then skates to the center, then leaves the puck for Kuni. However Kuni isn't able to handle the puck. Nice thought
1:55- Zajac takes a shot from the point and Flower sticks the puck away.
4:02- Geno, Neal, and Boychuk coming out of the zone all together and branch out. Geno drops off the puck to Boychuk, who fires a hard wrist shot high of the net.
5:17- Bortuzzo makes a great pass to Kuni, who comes flying down the side of the ice. He lets go of a rocket of a shot, but Brodeur is able to come up with the save.
7:16- Pens PP ends
7:37- DEVILS GREENE SCORES SH GOAL! Geno, who was on the ice a full 2 minutes for the PP and just tried, lets Greene go down the center to the net. Greene picks up a pass and is able to put one between the the legs of Flower into the net. 2-1 Pens.
9:16- Devils Elias takes a seat for holding and the Pens will get a PP.
10:14- KUNI SCORES!!! Devils turn over the puck in their own zone and Kuni picks up the puck. Kuni fires one between the legs of Brodeur putting the Pens up 2-0 over the Devils!
12:28- Duper with a rocket, hard shot that is high and wide of the net! SUTTER WAS AWARDED THE GOAL instead of Sid. His first as a Penguin! Congrats to Sutter!
14:20- Geno with some great stick handling to gain the line in the Devils zone. Devils with good defense to breakup Geno's pass attempt to Boychuk.
17:33- SID SCORES!!! Sutter takes a shot on net and Brodeur comes up the the save. Sid stationed in front of the net gets to the rebound. His chipped shot sneaks pass the stacked pads of Brodeur! 1-0 Pens
17:53- Sid with a chance out of the box. Sutter gets the puck, but Brodeur comes up with the save!
18:07- Pens kill off the Devils PP.
18:52- Martin with his stick in the lane to breakup a Devils play.
20:00- Second period time! Devils will have almost a full PP to work with. Pens PK needs to come up big!

0:07- Pens Sid takes a seat for a tripping call. Devils will get a PP chance!
3:46- TK with a shot and the puck becomes loose around the Devils net. Brodeur somehow gets his paddle down to stop the rebound shot by Sutter!
5:50- Flower comes up with a huge pad save, but can't get back for the rebound. Orpik plays backup goalie and clears the puck out of harms way! Close one
8:58- Sid gets the puck in the Devils zone and passes to Duper, who fires a shot just wide of the net.
9:41- Devils Tallinder takes a shot from the point, but Flower flashes his glove to grab the puck out of mid-air!
11:12- Pens turn over the puck to Kovlachuk in their own zone. He turns around a shoots a sneaking shot, but Flower makes the save with his right pad. Pens able to clear the rebound.
12:38- Pens PP ends. Pens has a few good chances on the PP, but need to get more shots on net and go for the rebounds rather then over passing.
14:38- Devils Kovalchuk goes to the sin bin for slashing and the Pens will get a PP chance.
15:35- Pens comes out looking good and getting some great chances. Neal with a slap shot from Geno and Brodeur comes up with the save.
20:00- The puck drops and the Pens look to get their first home game win of the season! Lets Go Pens!
0:07- Pens Sid takes a seat for a tripping call. Devils will get a PP chance!
3:46- TK with a shot and the puck becomes loose around the Devils net. Brodeur somehow gets his paddle down to stop the rebound shot by Sutter!
