0:52- COOKE SCORES AN EMPTY NET GOAL!!! Cooke whips one from the blue line into the empty net! 5-3 Pens
1:10- Lightning empty their net.
2:40- Martin is tripped up in the neutral zone by St.Louis and there is no call on the play
6:00- Neal with a great chance, but decides to try a pass to Sid in the slot. Lightning able to break up the pass attempt.
9:09- Flower makes a great pad save and Orpik with a defensive play to deny Lecavalier the rebound shot.
11:53- Sutter rips a shot that rings off the goal post. Close one.
13:13- Flower makes a huge pad save on a breakaway chance for Panik! Amazing save by the Flower!
14:00- Lightning putting some pressure on the Pens net.
16:45- LIGHTNING CONACHER SCORES! Lightning had a delayed penalty but Conacher sneaks behind the Pens defense and puts it in the net! 4-3 Pens
19:40- Sid makes a turning pass/shot to Kuni. It hits the poooost!!!
20:00- Time for the third period and the Pens to put this game away! Lets Go Pens!
2nd Period
0:00- Second period ends and it was a crazy period of hockey. Pens keep the lead and even extend it further. 4-2 Pens
1:24- Flower has come up with some great saves. Garon robs Glass on a up close shot! Just an unreal save by Garon!
6:15- Pens PP ends! Flower makes an amazing shoulder save on Thompson who had a SH breakaway chance!
7:40- BENNETT SCORES ON THE PP!!! Tanger makes a sick play to keep the puck in the zone and get a pass to Sid across the ice. Sid dishes a pass to Bennett of the top of the faceoff circle. Bennett fires a shot into the net! His first NHL goal! 4-2 Pens
8:15- Pens will have a 5 on 3 PP chance for 1:18 as Salo is called for tripping.
8:57- Pens will get a PP chance as Brewer is called for interference.
10:26- Sid gets a pass from Tanger and carries it into the Lightning zone. Sid's slap shot is saved by Lightning Garon!
15:05- Pens able to kill off the Lightning PP and avoid anymore trouble. Lightning Brewer now credited with first goal.
16:46- LIGHTNING STAMKOS SCORES! Stamkos is left wide open and he fires a hard shot. It finds its way to the back of the net. Lightning still have a PP to work with for 1:39. 3-2 Pens
17:06- Now Adams is sent to the sin bin for boarding and the Lightning will have a 5 on 3 to work for 1:35.
17:31- Despres is sent off for hooking and the Lightning will get a PP chance.
18:23- LIGHTNING KILLORN SCORES! Pens are caught up in their own zone and the puck is loose in front of the Pens net. Killorn is able to put the puck behind Flower into the net. 3-1 Pens
20:00- Time for the second period and the Pens need to keep the momentum from the first period going! Lightning make a goalie switch and bring in Garon! Lets Go Pens!

0:33- MARTIN SCORES!!! Martin comes into the Lightning zone and passes to Cooke, who shots from the side of the net. Lindback makes the first save, but Martin shots the rebound into the back of the net! 3-0 Pens
1:01- Pens crash the net as the puck is loose, but the Lightning are able to keep the puck out.
4:27- Sid carries the puck into the Lightning zone and passes to Tanger. He finds Kuni in the slot and lets go of a shot, but Lindback makes the save. Puck was rolling on Kuni and hard for him to settle down. Lightning clear the rebound chance.
8:20- Stamkos gets a run on the wing, but Tanger stays right with him and makes a great defensive move to get the puck away from Stamkos.
9:18- TK gets a shot off at the half circle and Lightning Lindback it able to make a pad save.
12:45- SID SCORES AGAIN!!! Martin fires a shot from the point and it is loose in the blue paint. Looks like Sid touched it into the net and the Pens take a 2-0 lead over the Lightning.
13:56- Tanger turns over the puck in the defensive zone to St. Louis and Flower comes up with two pads saves! Standing strong in the net!
15:50- Sid takes the puck around the back of the Lightning net and comes out to the side. He makes a pass to Neal in the slot and his shot is blocked. Lightning are able to clear the puck.
18:44- SID SCORES!!! The Lightning turn over the puck in the neutral zone and Kuni gets the puck to carry it into the middle of the Lightning zone. Kuni passes to Sid and he fires a shot into the high corner of the net pass Lindback! Just an amazing shot and accurate. Pens take the early lead 1-0!
20:00- The puck has dropped and we are underway! Time for the Pens to show the Lightning how to really strike! Lets Go Pens!
