1:30- Pens empty net!
2:32- Still no change as time whines down.
6:54- Pens getting some chances and getting offensive zone time!
9:01- Geno goes to one knee and fires a shot, but it's wide of the net!
12:09- Great chance for Kuni as he breaks through the Devils defense! Close one!
14:00- Geno with an amazing chance at the center of the Devils zone after a pass from Boychuk, behind the net. The puck just bounces off of Geno's stick!
15:30- Vokoun comes up with a nice save on Devils Clarkson.
19:45- NEAL SCORES ON THE PP!!! Matin starts the play from the Pens zone with a pass to Geno. Geno gets into the Devils zone and passes to Kuni at the center. He slides one under a Devil, trying to block the pass, to Neal. Neal goes down to one knee and fires one pass Hedberg into the back of the net! 3-1 Devils
20:00- Third period time! Pens will get a 1:49 PP to work with and they need to take advantage of it! Lets Go Pens!
2nd Period
0:00- Second period ends and the Devils extend their lead to 3-0 over the Pens. Pens will have a 1:49 PP to work with at the start of the third period.
0:11- Devils Gionta gets a slashing penalty and the Pens will have a PP chance.
4:31- Geno passes the puck up to Boychuk, who gets a one on one chance against Hedberg. He tries to backhand a shot, but Hedberg makes the pad save. Needed a little more elevation on that shot.
6:40- CLARKSON SCORES ON THE PP! Clarkson burries one into the net on the PP and is laid out by Orpik after the fact. Devils up 3-0 over the Pens.
7:50- Neal is sent to the sin bin for cross-checking and the Devils get their first PP of the game!
8:33- KOVALCHUK SCORES! Kovalchuk comes flying off the wing into the Pens zone. Devils have a 2 on 1 chance and Kovalchuk fires one between the pads of Vokoun. Devils now lead by two. 2-0 Devils
9:27- Duper with a pass across the ice to Sid, but his shot is blocked by Devils defender!
12:57- Vokoun comes up with three amazing saves in a row, right on his doorstep! Vokoun coming up big!
15:13- Pens with some fantastic chances, but Hedberg stays strong in the net for the Devils. Pens will have to do better to get a goal pass him tonight.
19:15- Pens PP ends. Devils Ginota loses an edge and slams, head first into the boards. Scary scene, but he skates off the ice on his own power and looks ok.
20:00- Second period is underway! Pens have a 45 second PP to work with! Lets Go Pens!

5:10- Geno is just robbed by the left pad of Hedberg! Hedberg is doing some great work in the net for the Devils! Pens need to get traffic to the front of the net and get to those dirty areas if they want to score.
6:10- Devils Ginota will sit for interference and the Pens will get a PP chance.
6:54- DEVILS CLARKSON SCORES! Clarkson comes flying into the Pens zone and snaps one pass the glove of Vokoun. Devils take the lead 1-0 over the Pens.
7:54- Vokoun with a sweet pad save on Devils 2nd shot of the night. Looked sharp, even with only facing two shots so far.
8:39- Pens have gotten some good chances at the Devils net. Just back and forth hockey going on. Pens doing a good job of keeping the Devils from getting any offensive zone time.
13:38- Geno takes the puck behind the Devils net and comes to the front. He takes a shot at close range, but Hedberg is able to make the save. Hedberg looks good early for the Devils.
15:00- Pens have had a few good looks at the net. Still scoreless and Vokoun hasn't faced a shot yet.
19:59- Bortuzzo drops the gloves against Devils Carter and what a great fight. I would say Bortuzzo won that one!
