The Penguins have now lost four of their last five games and they need to bounce back. They have fallen to 2nd in the Metropolitan division, one point behind the Washington Capitals. The Penguins need to bounce back and get to their game. The Penguins face some hard teams in the coming days, including the Capitals, and the Penguins cannot continue to play this way. The Penguins have switched up their lines and brought up Bryan Gibbons from WBS! Hopefully the lineup change can spark the Penguins! Lets Go Pens!

0:30- The Ducks empty their net!
1:42- The Pens will get a PP! Penner in the box for holding!
1:50- Sid gets to the puck after a foot race and knocks the puck out of the air with his skate. He passes to Kuni in front of the net and the puck is just put wide by Fasth!
2:26- The Pens call a timeout!
3:07- Neal and Sutter get a 2-on-1 chance! Neal passes to Sutter and his shot is gloved up by Fasth!
4:14- Orpik and Penny exchange hits in the Pens zone. Both have been going at it all night.
6:49- The Ducks get a 2-on-1 chance, but Flower shuts the door on Penner with a stretching pad save!
8:12- The Pens have more jump in their step, but the Ducks are not going down without a fight. Flower is still playing strong in the net.
12:04- SID SCORES!!! Sid doesn't quit on the play and gets the puck. He fires one from the faceoff circle and puts it in the top corner pass Fasth! 3-1 Pens!
12:26- Vitale is released from the box as the Pens kill the Ducks PP!
13:20- Tanger lays down to stop a shot and was playing a little bit of goalie on that play!
14:26- The Ducks will get their first PP of the game as Vitale is called for interference.
14:40- GETZLAF SCORES! The Ducks get a play going and seemed to be off-sides, but the refs do not call it. Getzlaf is left alone in the slot and is able to shoot one pass Flower. 2-1 Pens
15:06- SUTTER SCORES!! Maatta fires a shto from the point and it finds its way through traffic. Sutter tips the puck at the front of the net pass Fasth! 2-0 Pens!
16:08- GIBBONS SCORES HIS FIRST NHL GOAL! Geno takes the puck from behind the net and around the Ducks zone to the other side. He feeds a backhanded pass to Gibbons in the slot and he puts one up high! 1-0 Pens!
18:45- The Pens PP ends! Sid gets a chance at the end and he passes to Jokinen, who has a wide open net, his shot ends up going wide!
20:00- Third period time! The Pens still have a PP to work with for another 1:15! They need a goal on this PP to spark this team! Lets Go Pens!
2nd Period
0:00- Second period ends and we are still scoreless. Pens had 13 shots to Ducks 5 in that period.
0:45- The Pens are going back on the PP as Perry heads to the box. Duper drew the penalty and was working hard on his last shift. He was not giving up on the play and even working hard while he was down.
2:05- Kuni backhands a shot that bounces off the side of the net and in front of Fasth. Neal and Kuni go after the rebound, but can't get a clean shot off!
4:42- The Ducks are able to kill off the Pens PP. Sbisa gets a breakaway as he is released from the box, but Flower denies him!
6:42- The Pens will get the first PP of the game as Sbisa sits for cross-checking.
8:17- The Pens are now using Sid and Geno on the same line.
9:53- Vitale gets a stick on a rebound chance, but his shot just goes wide of the net!
12:27- Tanger takes a shot from the point and Fasth is able to glove up the puck.
15:03- Cogliano gets a breakaway chance, but Tanger is right on him. Flower makes a huge save on Cogliano's shot!
16:40- The Pens 4th line gets some forechecking going in the Ducks zone. They had some really good puck movement, but the play is interrupted by the refs whistle for a dislodged net.
17:50- The Ducks have a 3-on-1 chance, but Niskanen gets in way of the passing play and gets the puck up to Geno, who gets a scoring chance on the doorstep of Fasth!
20:00- Second period is underway! The Pens have to pick up their game if they want any chance of getting back into this game! Lets Go Pens!

4:53- Engo makes a pass that bounces off the back boards and Glass gets a chance as the Fasth was falling, but his shot is blocked!
7:56- Flower has been great in the net, so far. He is way to busy, the Pens need to control the puck better if they want to keep the puck out of their end and in the Ducks more.
9:08- The shots are 7-0 in favor of the Ducks. The Pens need to get more chances behind the Ducks net and get to work.
10:48- The Ducks crash the net, but Flower is there to answer with a pad save!
12:48- The 4th line of the Pens worked hard on the boards behind the Ducks net, but the Ducks are able to win the battle and clear the puck.
15:40- Vitale lays a punishing hit on Sbisa! The Pens have a one or two good plays, but the Ducks look more in control to start this game. Shots 3-0 in favor of the Ducks
20:00- The puck has been dropped at Consol Energy Center! The Pens take on the Ducks and need to get their game back on track! Lets Go Pens!
