The Penguins are in St. Louis to take on the Blues. The Penguins are coming off a 5-1 loss to the New York Rangers and look to turn things around. However, the Penguins will be without the services of Paul Martin, who tallies up the most minutes for the team. It will be a huge loss on defense, but the Penguins will have to play a smart game and keep the puck out of their end. James Neal and Beau Bennett have been practicing with the team and took the pregame warm-up. Bylsma said the lineup is a game-time decision. The Penguins need to rebound and retake back the lead of the Eastern Conference, which they are now tied for first with the Lightning, who face the Detroit Red Wings tonight. It's time to show everyone who is the best! Lets Go Pens!

3rd Period
0:00- BLUES WIN 2-1! The Blues end up with the win. The Pens have till Wednesday to shape things up and take it to the Flyers.
0:04- Blues ice the puck.
0:40- Pens have an empty net.
1:25- The Pens are called for icing and decide to call a timeout.
2:23- The Blues are flooding the neutral zone and the Pens are having trouble getting plays up ice into the Blues zone.
5:14- Blues get a 2 on 1 chance as Tanger pinches, but Flower gives Steen some room and then takes it away with a flash of his glove! Amazing save!
6:18- The Pens kill off the Blues PP. Flower makes a huge glove save at the end of the PP.
8:09- Orpik hands out some free candy to Roy at the side of the net, just flatted him onto the ice. Glass and Stewart back on the ice.
8:18- The Blues get a PP as Sid heads to the box for hooking. The Pens have a huge PK right now!
9:08- SHATTENKIRK SCORES! The Blues set up in the Pens zone and Shattenkirk fires one from the point and through traffic. It barely slips under the arm of Flower and trickles over the blue line. 2-1 Blues
9:45- Blues are called off-sides. Flower makes a save with his mask and it's starting to become a battle of the coaches, and the match-ups.
12:00- The Pens are paying extra attention to Steen. Bumping into him, whacking at him, and just messing with him at every chance they get. He starts yapping to Engo, maybe not the best choice, the Pens are trying to get him off his game.
13:36- Roy blasts one from the point, but Flower is able to pick that up with no problem.
14:44- This game has had some hard battles on the boards. The Blues have big players, but the Pens are working hard to win the battles.
16:00- Flower comes up with a huge shoulder save on Oshie on a point blank shot! Orpik may have also gotten a piece of the puck as he dove in front of the net attempting to block the shot.
20:00- Third period time! The Pens just need to keep working hard and put pucks on net! Lets Go Pens!
2nd Period
0:00- Second period ends and we are tied 1-1!
0:13- The Pens PP comes to an end. Sid redirected a shot that hit the goal post, close one.
2:14- Shattenkirk heads to the box for tripping and the Pens will get their second PP of the game.
4:40- Glass and Stewart are sent off to their respective locker rooms and each giving 10 minute misconduct penalties.
5:00- Roy flies into the slot area, undetected by the Pens, letting a shot fly. Flower is there to make the stop and what a stop it was. Flower still looking sharp.
9:32- The Pens are able to kill off another Blues PP. The PK unit was working hard and blocking lanes, but Flower was the star on the PK, just call him a brick wall.
11:32- Engo will head to the box for high sticking and the Blues get their 2nd PP of the game.
11:54- JOKINEN SCORES ON THE PP! Sid goes to Neal behind the net. Neal puts one out front to Geno and he finds Jokinen on the door step! What teamwork on the PP! Pens tie it up 1-1!
13:26- The Pens will get their first PP of the game as Polak gets an interference penalty.
14:25- Flower makes a save up high on a bad angle shot. The rebound is up for grabs, but the Pens are able to clear and get a play going up ice.
16:36- Bennett with a one timer and it hits the goal post!
17:08- REAVES SCORES! Steen gets the puck off the board and puts the puck in the slot area. Reaves redirects the puck right under the pads of Flower. 1-0 Blues
18:12- The Pens with a great PK effort and the Blues are unable to capitalize on their PP chance. Tanger was everywhere on that PK.
20:00- Second period is underway! The Blues have a PP to work with for 1:48! The Pens need to kill it, take the momentum and turn it into a goal! Lets Go Pens!

0:25- Neal with a shot that goes off the side of the net.
1:00- Tanger with a good defense move to put the puck up ice to Neal.
3:45- Sid gets the puck and gets away from the Blues defense, but Halak makes the save with the blocker!
5:13- Bennett is back on the ice and looks to be ok, after blocking a shot with his skate.
6:10- The Blues get two good chances on net, but Flower flashes the pad to make the saves and the Pens move the puck out of their zone.
9:00- Flower makes an amazing toe save...he just got is toe out to redirect the puck out of harms way! Bennett limps back to the bench after the play.
10:17- Kuni with a quick shot in the slot, but Halak closes the pads to make the stop. The Blues pick up the rebound and exit their zone.
12:20- Tanger makes a solid hip check on Oshie and sends him flying. Great move by the defensemen on a player who thought he had Tanger beat!
14:37- Flower makes two quick saves on some quality shots by the Blues. This is a close checking game and is a physical one.
16:40- Bennett hits the ice for his first shift, but it's with Sutter and D'Agostini. Seems that Bennett and Neal have switched lines.
17:30- Neal takes the ice for his first shift, but it's with Jokinen and Geno. Good start for the Real Deal.
19:57- Engo and Reaves drop the gloves right off the opening faceoff. Both of them got some good right hooks in, even fight.
20:00- Beau Bennett and James Neal return to the lineup tonight! The puck has dropped and this game is on! Lets Go Pens!
