The Pens are set to take on the Islanders at the Consol Energy Center. The Pens are still looking for their first win in Pittsburgh! Lets get one tonight!

0:00- Isles will take away the win 4-1 over the Pens!
1:09- DUPER SCORES!!! Sid at the side of the net passes to Kuni in the middle. Kuni takes a shot and Duper buries the rebound in the back of the net! 4-1 Isles
2:20- Lovejoy takes a shot that is stopped by the pads of Nabokov.
3:58- Engo with a shot from the point that gets through to the goal. Cooke tries to jam in the puck, but Nabokov is able to hold onto the puck.
5:17- Neal puts a shot in front of Nabokov, but Geno is defended away from the puck. Isles able to clear.
7:01- Pens get a shot through from the point, but Nabokov makes sure that there is no rebound chance.
9:07- Nabokov flashes the glove at the shot by Geno and plays the puck to a defender.
10:02- Sid with some amazing stick handling in the Isles zone with two players barring down on him. Sid still is able to get a shot through to Nabokov, who gobbles up the puck.
11:52- Vokoun fights off a shot using his pads and Tanger takes the puck out of the zone into the Isles zone.
13:05- Geno tries to redirect a shot pass Nabokov, but it doesn't happen.
14:09- Vokoun comes up with a glove save and holds for the whistle.
15:55- Pens not able to capitalize on the 5 minute major penalty. Pens are 0 for 3 on the PP tonight and with only three PP shots.
17:30- Tanger with a hard shot and Nabokov gives up a big rebound. Sid is just not able to get to the rebound before an Islander.
18:41- Jeffery with a shot that is steered away by Nabokov.
20:00- Third period has begun! Pens are on the PP. Lets get something done boys! Vokoun will start in the net.
2nd Period
0:00- Second period ends! Pens are down 4-0, but will have a PP to start the third!
1:06- Lovejoy is just hammered into the boards by Isles McDonald. A nasty hit that results with in a 5 minute major.
1:44- Kuni gets a shot on net, but Nabokov comes up with the save and doesn't give up any rebound.
2:45- ISLES MOULSON SCORES! Moulson finds the rebound off the boards and puts it behind Flower. Flower gets no help from his defense as they don't seem to be present. 4-0 Isles
3:54- TK now takes a seat and the Isles bring out their PP unit again.
4:38- ISLES TAVARES SCORES! Tavares fires one up high on Flower to put the Isles ahead 3-0! It was a PP goal.
5:18- Neal will go to the sin bin for a hooking penalty. Isles will go onto the PP. Worse time to take a penalty. Isles can put this game further out of reach for the Pens.
5:30- Flower makes a great pad save and Jeffery picks up the rebound.
6:14- Pens get two chances at a wide open Isles net! Just can't get the puck to settle down.
7:08- Sid comes flying into the Isles zone and takes a backhanded shot it goes off the side of the net.
8:09- Pens ice the puck and Byslma calls a timeout.
9:40- Duper with a shot that just goes wide! So close
11:25- Tanger tries taking two shots at the net, but both chances are blocked. Isles able to clear puck out.
13:14- ISLES GRABNAR SCORES! Grabnar gets a breakaway chance, Flower comes out to challenge and gets a piece of the puck. However it isn't enough and the Isles take a 2-0 lead over the Pens.
14:01- Despres takes a shot that bounces up in the air. Best time Pens have had in the offensive zone so far this period.
16:06- Adams takes a shot from the point that Sid redirects at the side of the net. Nabokov somehow able to get his pad down.
17:01- TK drives a high shot to the net. Nabokov comes up with a shoulder save and Isles are able to clear.
18:49- Flower makes a pad save on Tavares. Pens looking a bit rough to start this period!
20:00- Second period is underway! Pens need to step up and get some goals! Lets Go Pens!

3:59- ISLES CIZIKAS SCORES! Bad exchange between the Pens defense and Cizikas takes the puck. He wraps it around to stick it in behind Flower. Pens down 1-0 to the Isles!
6:15- Flower comes up with a huge pad save and the Pens are able to get the rebound out of harms way!
8:14- Pens PP ends. Islanders had a great PK effort and Pens didn't really get any chances on net.
10:09- Isles Carkner takes a seat for high sticking and Pens will get another PP chance.
10:44- Geno makes a beautiful pass to the front of the Isles net, but no one is there. Amazing how he was able to get the puck through.
12:07- Isles getting some good time in the Pens zone. Flower dives out to cover the puck for a whistle, trying to settle things down.
13:03- Pens PP ends. Pens didn't have a very good PP and didn't really get a chance to set up anything.
15:03- Okposo will go off to the sin bin for boarding and the Pens will get a PP.
16:37- Sid drops off a pass to Kuni, who passes across the ice to Duper. Sid drives to the net, pushing back the defense. Duper cuts to the front of the net and takes a shot. Nabokov makes the save and is able to get the rebound shot.
18:13- Flower makes an early pad save on a shot from the point.
20:00- It's Hockey Night in Pittsburgh! Pens take on the Islanders and look to get their first win in the Consol Energy Center!
