The Penguins are in Ottawa!

The Penguins are in Ottawa to face the Senators tonight! This is their last game before the Christmas break and they are on a hot streak! I was lucky enough to attend their last three home games and it was amazing. They were doing great for a team that has numerous injuries to key players. The depth of the Penguins farm system in Wilkes Barre/Scranton is amazing. It has been great to see the young guys being called up producing and giving it their all. Hopefully the Penguins can get another win and keep their streak rolling. Lets Go Pens!

The Pens lineup is as follows:

Forwards
Kuni, Sid, Duper
Conner, Jokinen, Neal
Zolnierczyk, Sutter, Vitale
Adams, Sill, Kobasew

Defense
Niskanen, Maatta
Despres, Sammuelsson
Dumoulin, Bortuzzo

Flower in the cage!

Play By Play

4:31- The Pens cannot capitalize yet again on the PP. Maatta makes a great defensive effort and gets a nice shot on the PP. Impressive for a guy who is only 19 years old.

6:31- The Pens are headed back on the PP! Spezza is called for tripping and takes a seat!

7:10- Kuni gets somewhat behind the Sens defense, but Anderson is strong with a pad save. Kuni was also bear hugged a bit.
