Possible First Round Playoff Match-Up!

By: MF, The Pens Hockey Show

The Penguins will be in Columbus to battle the Blue Jackets! The Penguins are in need of a win and a win would will get them back on track. They played a hard fought game last night against the Los Angeles Kings, but fell 3-2. The Penguins lead the NHL in man lost games and will be adding another name to that list. Marcel Goc is out with a lower-body injury for a few weeks. He will join Evgeni Malkin who is out 2-3 weeks with a hairline fracture in his foot. However the Penguins have some good news on the injury front. Kris Letang has been cleared for games, but it will be up to him when he wants to join the Penguins back on the ice for game time. It's great to see Letang doing better and I want him to be 100% ready when he returns, whenever he thinks that is. The Penguins have recalled Beau Bennett from Wilkes-Barre Scranton and has been praised for his hard work in the minors. He is a hard working player and will be a great addition for the Penguins with their lineup falling to injuries. The Penguins need to come out and put pucks on the net. They will have to dump in the puck and battle for it. The Penguins will have to get to the dirty areas and battle for a good shot on net.

The Pens lineup is as follows:

Forwards
Kuni, Sid, Stempniak

Bennett, Jokinen, Neal
Pyatt, Sutter, Gibbons
Glass, Adams, Megna

Defense
Bortuzzo, Orpik
Niskanen, Scuderi
Despres, Engo

Flower in the cage!
