Pens Steam Roll Islanders and Continue Streak!

The Pens have made it eleven in a row with a 4-2 over the New York Islanders tonight! The Pens started out really slow and were outplayed by the Islanders, but Vokoun kept them in the game only allowing one goal after the first period. He stayed strong in the net the entire night and was the hero of the game for the Pens. Kuni opened up the scoring and Sutter gave the Pens the lead at the start of the third period. They didn't give up that lead for the rest of the game and cleaned up their defensive play. Duper ended it with an empty netter goal that was scored with about a second left in the game, which was assisted by Vokoun! The Pens are headed back to Pittsburgh for their next game on Sunday against their cross state rivals the Flyers. Pens may have both Tanger and Geno back in the lineup along with TK. Till then lets soak up this win and the eleven game winning streak! Way to go Pens!
