Welcome everyone to a early start time between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Buffalo Sabres. The Penguins are coming off two back-to-back losses and are looking to strike back with a win over the Sabres.
Nothing different on the injury front. Conor Sheary is back in the lineup, if you didn't watch the last game. Otherwise things are pretty much the same.
On a side note, tonight the Penguins Foundation are selling the annual charity bags. You can buy them online and there are two kinds. $1,000 Gold bags and $250 Black bags. The difference is that the Gold bags are guaranteed to have a signed jersey and one bag will have a Golden ticket inside. The Black bags could have a signed jersey in it, but that is left up to chance. Go check it out and grab yourself one! I have mine and it's my third year getting a bag. Never been disappointed...well I haven't gotten lucky enough to get a jersey just yet.

2:56 - SHEARY SCORES! Schultz with a beautiful pass across the ice right onto the stick of Sheary who guides the puck past Nilsson! He never stopped skating on his way to the net! 4-3 Pens
3:46 - GUENTZEL SCORES! Guentzel with some unreal hand-eye coordination as he tips the point shot! It is reviewed as a possible high-stick, but the ruling stands! 3-3 tie game
3:55 - Great effort on the power play, but the Pens are unable to capitalize.
4:53 - What a power play effort. Crosby, Malkin, Kessel, Hornqvist, and Schultz are buzzing around the offensive zone. They are fired up.
5:55 - Pens onto the power play as Kane gets a tripping call.
6:22 - Sabres with some chances. Fleury is owning Kane right now.
8:25 - Sabres just holding on to the lead. Nilsson the only thing keeping them in the lead at this point.
10:21 - That brings an end to the power play and the Pens are unable to take advantage.

13:55 - The Sabres have had some quality scoring chances, but Fleury has closed the door on them.

2:11 - The Sabres call a timeout. The Pens have dominated and have been buzzing around Nilsson.
6:18 - MALKIN SCORES ON THE POWER PLAY! Three Pens go to battle for the puck in the corner! They win and get the puck out of Schultz at the point! Schultz slides the puck over to Malkin! Malkin blasts a shot right past the glove of Nilsson! Rocket of a shot! 3-2 Sabres
7:03 - Sheary is taken down hard by Falk. A late hit and Falk will had to the box for interference. Pens bring out their power play unit.
11:48 - Kane gets a breakaway chance, but Fleury stretches out the pad to deny him. Great save! Next goal is going to be a big one. Pens are buzzing.
12:15 - SCHULTZ SCORES! Malkin leads the rush, Kessel puts the pass on Schultz's stick as he drives the slot area! Schultz directs the puck that goes off a Sabre then back off Schultz's skate past Nilsson! 3-1 Sabres
13:19 - The Pens kill off the penalty. Now they need to stay out of the box for the rest of this game.
15:19 - A bad penalty by Wilson. He sits for slashing. The Pens have to kill off another penalty.
16:18 - That will end that crazy power play chance for the Pens.
16:52 - Guentzel gets behind the defense and has a one-on-one chance. His shot goes off the left post, off Nilsson, and behind the net. Unreal chance.
17:29 - Crosby snaps a hard shot that Nilsson gets a piece of with his glove.
18:18 - Now the Pens are getting a power play chance as Sabres are caught with too many men on the ice.

5:07 - Gionta scores on the power play. Murray tries clear the puck up the middle of the ice and Moulson ends up with it. Moulson's first shot is saved, but he regains control and gets it out to Gionta in front. Gionta beats Murray. 2-0 Sabres
6:27 - Hagelin to the box for slashing. The Pens bring out the penalty killers.
6:55 - The puck looks to be in the net, but the Sabres reach into the net and fish it out. The referees review the play and rule it as a no goal as the puck didn't completely cross the goal line. It was super close though.
8:04 - Guenztel gets to the loose puck in front, but Nilsson makes the stop. The Pens crash the net, but Nilsson is able to hold them off.
8:58 - Some good offensive zone time for the Pens, but they are unable to capitalize.
11:31 - Sheary sneaks the puck in between the pads of Nilsson, but he is able to keep the puck from crossing the goal line.
13:41 - O'Reilly scores. Another bad turnover by the Pens and the Sabres take advantage. O'Reilly elevates the puck over Murray. 1-0 Sabres
14:48 - Solid penalty kill by the Pens. Kuhnhackl is set free.
